This document analyzes proposed management measures that would limit access for trawl catcher vessels targeting Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands trawl limited access sector yellowfin sole for delivery of the catch to a mothership or catcher processor.

This document analyzes proposed management measures that would limit access for trawl catcher vessels targeting Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI) trawl limited access sector (TLAS) yellowfin sole for delivery of the catch to a mothership or catcher processor. The management measures under consideration also include options for catcher vessels that may be excluded from the offshore BSAI TLAS yellowfin sole directed fishery under the preferred alternative to target BSAI TLAS yellowfin sole during periods of high BSAI TLAS yellowfin sole allocations.
