This report reviews seabird bycatch in commercial groundfish and halibut fisheries in the exclusive economic zone off Alaska from 2007 through 2015, provides recent trends in seabird bycatch estimates for these fisheries, and reviews seabird avoidance measures for these fisheries. This report also details efforts by NOAA Fisheries to understand, monitor, and minimize bycatch of the endangered short-tailed albatross in the EEZ off Alaska
