This convenient wallet card provides information on what to do and who to call if you accidentally catch a smalltooth sawfish.
Smalltooth sawfish are listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act. It is illegal to harvest or handle sawfish. If a sawfish is accidentally caught, it should be released immediately following safe handling guidelines and procedures. Illegal activities should be reported.
