What We Do
The Public Affairs Office facilitates expert interviews on everything from stock assessments to sea lions, holds press conferences and issues press releases to announce our latest news, and serves as a valuable resource for media interested in learning more about NOAA Fisheries. A network of Public Affairs Officers at NOAA Fisheries' headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, and at each of our regional offices and science centers, help journalists find information they're looking for in a timely, efficient manner.
