Summary

NOAA Fisheries announced a revision to the U.S. Grade Standard for Fish Fillets to improve inspection procedures, policy, and guidance to enhance efficiency and modernize the current standards with best practices. Through modernization of the current U.S. Grade Standards, NOAA has created a harmonized approach that is anticipated to increase the uniformity of results and decrease the time associated with grading.

NOAA will accept comments through electronic submission for 60 days.
