Summary

Amendment 31 proposes removing Atlantic group cobia from the Coastal Migratory Pelagics Fishery Management Plan (CMP FMP). Future management of Atlantic group cobia would be under the purview of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Management Commission (ASMFC) and their Interstate FMP.
