Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Outreach Workshops

NOAA Fisheries announces the schedule for five Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Outreach Workshops held in locations across Puerto Rico from April 29, 2024 through May 3, 2024.
The Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Outreach Workshops are designed to educate fishers, dealers, and the general public on the fishing regulations governing Atlantic highly migratory species. This includes permit and reporting requirements, authorized species and gears, and minimum size limits. The workshops are also intended to increase proficiency in species identification and distribute outreach materials. NOAA Fisheries staff will be available to answer questions regarding Atlantic highly migratory species regulations as well as help fishers and dealers acquire the necessary Atlantic highly migratory species permits.
