Project: Ribbon and spotted seals will be tagged with satellite-linked transmitters to study their seasonal movements, foraging ecology and dive behavior. Seals will be sampled for genetics and to assess their health and condition. Small boats based on the NOAA Vessel Oscar Dyson, will be used to access the seals on ice floes.
