The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is opening directed fishing for yellowfin sole in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI) effective 1200 hrs, Alaska local time (A.l.t.), July 25, 2005, according to Ronald J. Berg, Acting Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS.
This action is necessary to allow yellowfin sole fishery in the BSAI to resume and is issued pursuant to 50 CFR 679.25(a)(2)(i)(C) and (a)(2)(iii)(D).
