New Regulations Expected Summer 2020

The New England Fishery Management Council has recommended fishing year 2020 (May 1, 2020-April 30, 2021) recreational groundfish measures. The recommended changes, if approved, would not impact the fishery until 2021, as we will not be able to implement the 2020 recreational measures by May 1, 2020. We are developing the proposed rule and expect to implement it in early summer 2020.

Additional information on the current recreational measures can be found on the recreational fishing regulations by species page.
