These questions are critical for effective conservation management of endangered wildlife populations. Dr. Allen is currently a research scientist employed by the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center in the Protected Species Division where she developed a sea turtle endocrinology laboratory to examine sex ratios of sea turtles at foraging grounds in order to examine the potential effect of climate change.
