Carley Lowe, Ph.D.
Carley is a marine mammal specialist and works on the Cook Inlet beluga population, the WhaleAlert notification system, GIS support and researching stress and reproduction in marine mammals. She has a B.Sc. from the University of Alaska (Juneau), an M.Sc. from the University of Hawaii (Hilo) and a Ph.D. from Northern Arizona University. Her background is primarily in large whale research, including stress physiology using novel tissue types.
