Elizabeth Alonzo

Elizabeth earned a BA in Biology with a concentration in Marine Biology from Millersville University. She began her career in fisheries as an observer in Alaska before transferring to the NEFSC to work with the Bottom Trawl Group. Since her transfer to the NEFSC, she has served as a deckhand for the Gloria Michelle, assisted the Age and Growth lab, helped create the pilot Hook and Line survey, mended nets, and sailed on numerous Ecosystems Survey Branch surveys.
