Erin Collings Bohaboy, PhD

Research Fish Biologist

Erin Bohaboy joined the Stock Assessment Program (SAP) at the Pacific Island Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC) in March 2020. Her Ph.D. dissertation research focused on Gulf of Mexico red snapper recreational discarding, post-release mortality, and implications for management. She has diverse experience working for NOAA Fisheries previously as a contractor supporting ocean acidification research and Endangered Species Act Section 10 research permitting for Pacific salmon. In addition to stock assessment, her current interests include integrating simulation analysis and population dynamics with other areas of fisheries research.
