Erin Fedewa
Erin joined the Shellfish Assessment Program in 2018 after completing her Master’s Degree at Oregon State University and a Fulbright Fellowship in Trinidad and Tobago. As a member of the North Pacific Fishery Management Council’s Crab Plan Team, Erin’s interests lie in conducting applied research to inform fisheries management. She is currently the lead PI on projects examining snow crab energetic condition and physiology, crab-fishing gear interactions, and drivers of disease in Tanner and snow crab. Erin is also a lead on Alaska Fisheries Science Center's ecosystem-based management initiatives, and communicates ecosystem indicators to fishery managers during the annual Bering Sea crab stock assessment cycle.
