Haley Synan

Ocean Color Remote Sensing Specialist (Affiliate)

Haley received her B.S. in Environmental Science from Le Moyne College in 2021 and her M.S. in Marine Science and Technology from the School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST) at UMass Dartmouth in 2023. Her past research focused on assessing the feasibility of using satellite remote sensing as a tool for monitoring water quality of optically shallow estuarine systems. Her work continues to be centered around ocean color remote sensing, but now with expanded research interests.
