Jason Gasper, Ph.D.

Jason works in the Catch Analysis and Data Quality Branch. He works on fishery data quality and statistical issues as they relate to catch statistics and the observer program. In addition, he provides expertise on Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Management and Conservation Act, National Standard 1 issues, and analytic support for National Environmental Protection Act and other regulatory and policy actions. He's currently serving on the Council's Scientific and Statistical Committee, and provides US delegation support for the US/Russia Intergovernmental Consultative Committee.
