Kiersten is the lead assessment scientist for Atlantic mackerel; NOAA representative on the ASMFC stock assessment committees for river herring, American shad and Atlantic sturgeon; Secondary scientist for black sea bass and Atlantic herring. She has been with the Northeast Fisheries Science Center since 2011.
