Marilyn (Molly) Zaleski
Molly works on conserving essential fish habitat through consultations with other Federal and State agencies. Prior to joining the Habitat Conservation Division, Molly worked as a marine scientist for Oceana and as a research contractor with the Alaska Fisheries Science Center’s Auke Bay Laboratories. She earned her M.S. in Fisheries from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences in 2012. Her background includes data compilation of fisheries and fish habitats, bioenergetics analysis, hydrocarbon sample processing, crustacean endocrinology, fisheries monitoring as a North Pacific groundfish observer, and crustacean population surveys. She has experience working collaboratively with government, industry, and environmental organizations.
