Melanie Rickett

Melanie (Mel) is based in Seattle, WA., and works on scale/video inspections for the at-sea fleet, approves catch monitoring control plans (crab and groundfish), and implantation of new monitoring programs. Additionally she acts as a liaison between the Alaska Region's Sustainable Fisheries Division and the Alaska Fisheries Science Center on issues related to observers and catch monitoring.
