NOAA Regional Coordinator
Nicole is trained as both a social and natural scientist. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Seton Hill University, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from UMass Boston. 
As NOAA's North Atlantic Regional Collaboration Coordinator, Nicole makes and facilitates connections on shared priorities across NOAA. She is currently the NMFS policy advisor on marine critical minerals, serves on the Advisory Board for NOAA’s NOAA Center for Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Technologies (CESSRST), and is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Northeast Regional Association for Coastal & Ocean Observing Systems (NERACOOS). 
Nicole is a NOAA Bronze Medal award winner for her co-creation of the NOAA Live! Webinar series for kids, and a NOAA Administrator’s Award recipient for her work as part of the Middle Peninsula Habitat Focus Area team.
