Nicole earned her B.A. in Political Science from Seton Hill University, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and is a doctoral candidate at UMASS-Boston’s School for the Environment focused on increasing equitable access and application of satellite-based earth observations in coastal communities. Nicole is a NOAA Bronze Medal award winner for her co-creation of the NOAA Live! Webinar series for kids. 
 
Nicole makes and facilitates connections and collaboration on shared priorities across NOAA and with our partners from Virginia to Maine. She is currently working with Housatonic Community College, Revisionist Films, the Amity Regional School District and the Mary & Eliza Freeman Center for History and Community on a NOAA Heritage Program-funded short film for their forthcoming Resilience Center in Bridgeport, CT. Nicole oversees coordination of NOAA's tribal engagement in the region, NOAA's regional climate & equity pilot with The Medical Society Consortium on Climate & Health, and sustains regional engagement in the Urban Waters Federal Partnership and NOAA in Service activities.
