Rolf Ream
Research Zoologist
Rolf Ream has been a Research Zoologist for the Alaska Ecosystems Program at the Alaska Fisheries Science Center's Marine Mammal Laboratory for over 30 years. He received his PhD (Aquatic and Fishery Sciences) and his B.S. (Zoology) at the University of Washington. Rolf coordinates and oversees AFSC research activities on northern fur seals in Alaska, including studies of health and condition, foraging ecology, vital rates, and population dynamics. Rolf also partners with Unangax̂ researchers on the Pribilof Islands to foster mutual science, conservation, and food security objectives.
