Sarah M. Roberts, Ph.D.
Sarah has a background in quantitative ecology and has focused on species distributions and community ecologies under changing conditions. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Davidson College, an MEM degree from Duke University and a doctorate in marine science from Duke University. She was a postdoctoral researcher under Dr. Janet Nye at UNC where she jointly modeled marine mammal and fish distributions and taught statistics for environmental scientists. She is coming from a postdoctoral position at Duke university where she analyzed the impacts of forest structure and climate change on human health in Africa and taught ecosystem science and conservation to mid-career professional students.
