Stacy Unzicker is the Equity & Environmental Justice Coordinator for the Alaska Fisheries Science Center. She assists the Communications team alongside cultural and science experts who work to co-develop culturally relevant projects that enhance community and environmental well-being throughout rural Alaska.
Stacy is a communicator and educator who weaves together passions for photography, education, and social justice to promote appreciation and conservation of our precious resources and relationships. Living and working as a guest in Lingít Aaní for the last 15 years has molded Stacy’s value of places and the people that keep them. Stacy would like to say Gunalcheésh, Háw’aa, T’oyaxsut ‘nüüsm to all her teachers.
