Marine Habitat Resource Specialist- Offshore Wind

Thomas Heimann joined the Habitat and Ecosystem Services Division at GARFO in January 2023 as a Marine Habitat Resource Specialist working on offshore wind related issues. Prior to joining GARFO, he worked as a survey lead for pre-construction fisheries monitoring surveys in wind energy areas in southern New England as well as various collaborative research projects alongside the fishing industry. Thomas received his bachelor’s degree in marine science from Prescott College in Arizona and a masters in marine biology from Northeastern University in Massachusetts.
