Educator Workshop: Teachers on the Estuary
Learn how to meaningfully engage with the outdoors as a component of your teaching.
About
Join a community of middle and high school educators for five days of sharing stories and meals, having fun, and experiencing a unique part of the Chesapeake Bay. This workshop is based at the Karen Noonan Center, a beautiful education center surrounded by miles of wild saltmarsh on the shores of the Bay. Join us to regroup, recharge, and learn (by doing!) how to meaningfully engage with the outdoors as a component of your teaching practice while supporting your students' social and emotional learning. Check out this video to learn more about Teachers on the Estuary. This year’s Teachers on the Estuary is July 29 through August 2; it is hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, and the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office.
