    • 4 - 5 speakers, 5 min talks with 20-25 min Q&A panel
  • Scaling EM programs
    • Topics will cover critical issues identified by the workshop steering committee, e.g. video review, cost estimation, VMP, biological sampling, integration with other ASM tools, etc.

12:00 - 1:00 p.m.    Lunch - networking and vendor expo

Afternoon

  • Scaling EM programs
    • Topics will cover critical issues for regions as identified by the workshop steering committee, e.g. video review, cost estimation, VMP, biological sampling, integration with other ASM tools, etc.
  • EM technology development
    • Topics will cover current technology development such as boat technology (e.g.,measuring boards, low-cost EM systems, adding functionality for fishermen), hardware integreations, wireless communications, etc.
  • EM vendor panel
    • What are the challenges for EM vendors? How are they addressing challenges related to scaling?

    • Updates on current EM policy: cost-allocation, data storage, etc.

  • Regional perspectives on National policy
    • How are regions responding to National policy? How are regional EM programs designed to meet policy requirements?
