About
NOAA is excited to join our partners at Restore America's Estuaries to showcase some of our habitat restoration work in estuaries around the country as part of the 2021 National Estuaries Week.
We will emphasize 3 projects in different types of habitat, technical assistance with partners, and the long-term, cumulative impacts of these collaborative efforts of the NOAA Restoration Center, housed within the Office of Habitat Conservation in NOAA Fisheries.
Projects will include wetland restoration in the Snohomish Estuary, WA; restoration efforts in the Cape Fear River Estuary in NC; and, oyster restoration in the Chesapeake Bay, MD.
