Partnerships for Implementing Hawaiian Monk Seal Species in the Spotlight Priority Recovery

NOAA Fisheries is soliciting competitive proposals for grants and cooperative agreements that will support specific programmatic activities (including education and outreach projects) related to Hawaiian monk seal recovery or marine mammal response. Priority will be given to projects that will support specific programmatic activities related to Priority Actions highlighted in the Hawaiian Monk Seal Species in the Spotlight plan.

For this competition, the specific program objectives include: disease prevention and control, strategic social marketing, and citizen science efforts contributing to monk seal recovery in the main Hawaiian Islands.
