Michael Cameron

Michael Cameron is the Polar Ecosystems Program Manager at the Alaska Fisheries Science Center's, Marine Mammal Laboratory. He has a Ph.D. (Conservation Biology) from the University of Minnesota and B.S. (Zoology) from the University of Washington.
The Polar Ecosystems Program monitors and conducts research on the five species of phocid seals in Alaska: bearded, ribbon, ringed, and spotted seals (collectively known as ice-associated seals or "ice seals"), and harbor seals. This research includes investigations of their habitats and the relationships between predators and prey.
