Amanda (Ren) Krog

Ren graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a B.S. in Marine Biology in May 2023. She was an observer for 10 months, starting as a NEFOP observer in June 2023 out of Point Judith. Ren was also trained to work as an At Sea Monitor and for the following specialized NEFOP gear: pot trap, clam dredge, high volume, and longline. Ren has been intrigued by the debriefer position since her initial training and is excited to start. She enjoys crocheting, drawing, beach days, and hiking in her free time.
