Corinne Paterson
Corinne Paterson is a Senior Research Associate for the Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) working with NOAA Fisheries’ Southeast Fisheries Science Center at the Marine Mammal Molecular Genetics Lab in Lafayette, LA.
Corinne received her Master of Science in Biology in 2014 where she focused on the molecular genetics of marine fish species. She began working with the Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) at the University of Miami and the Southeast Fisheries Science Center in 2018.
Corinne’s primary role is the lab technician for the Marine Mammal Molecular Genetics Lab. She works on different research projects on marine mammals in the Gulf of America and northwest Atlantic Ocean.
