Jenni Wallace
Jenni Wallace is the director of the NOAA Fisheries Office of Policy. She coordinates and implements Administration priorities (i.e. Executive Orders, Presidential Memos, etc.) and agency priorities articulated in our Strategic Plan. She also oversees strategic operating procedures and policy documentation, coordinates the NOAA Fisheries Leadership Council, oversees the Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee, and ensures cross-agency and cross-line office implementation of NOAA's coastal and marine energy and infrastructure portfolio.
Most recently, Jenni served as deputy director of the Office of Sustainable Fisheries. Jenni has served as the Office of Sustainable Fisheries’ Operations and Regulatory Services Division Chief, the Operations and Planning Branch Chief for the Atlantic Highly Species Management Division. She also served as co-chair of the Deputy Council working to address NOAA Fisheries-wide challenges such as strategic prioritization and employee well-being. She first joined the agency as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Office of Habitat Conservation.
Jenni received a B.S. in Marine Biology from Eckerd College and a Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University. She also completed the Brookings Executive Education Executive Fellows Program and received a Certificate in Public Leadership in 2017.
