Biological Opinion of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for the Operation of Hawaii-based Pelagic Longline Fisheries

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biological opinion on the continued operation of the Hawaii-based deep-set and shallow-set pelagic longline fisheries and their affects on the survival of the endangered short-tailed albatross.

This Biological Opinion consolidates and updates the previously separate opinions covering the Hawaii-based shallow set and deep set longline fisheries to enable effective administration, monitoring, and implementation of the Endangered Species Act requirements to protect short-tailed albatross.
