Summary

PacifiCorp operates the Klamath Hydroelectric Project. To minimize and mitigate for adverse effects to coho salmon, PacifiCorp prepared an HCP for its interim operations in the Klamath Hydroelectric Project. This HCP underlines the conservation strategy and measures that PacifiCorp will undertake to address anticipated effects on coho salmon and their habitat, specifically the Southern Oregon/Northern California Coast coho salmon population, during project operations in the Klamath River Basin. NOAA Fisheries issued an Incidental Take Permit on February 24, 2012.
