A system where southeast commercially permitted vessels may register and submit “No Fishing” reports online.

The Southeast Fisheries Electronic Reporting System, also referred to as FER, provides southeast commercially permitted vessels to electronically submit “No Fishing” reports. The system only allows for no fishing reports, catches may not be reported here.

The link lets permit holders register for online reporting of no fishing reports. The registration involves getting an individual PIN which will be mailed to their address on record from the Southeast Regional Office permit office. Upon receipt of the PIN, the user may go through the rest of the registration process. The user may then begin using FER to report no fishing by month.
