Aquaculture Opportunity Areas continue to be a priority for NOAA Fisheries and our efforts to make AOA identification transparent and inclusive remain a vital part of the process.
During the Aquaculture Opportunity Area planning process, the Office of Aquaculture has conducted public listening sessions, presentations to stakeholders and Fishery Management Councils, and created materials to keep stakeholders informed.
