Pelagic Longline Bluefin Tuna Area-Based and Weak Hook Management Scoping Process

NOAA Fisheries announces the availability of a scoping document, a schedule for public scoping meetings, request for comment, and intent to prepare a draft environmental impact analysis to assess the potential effects of alternative measures for management of western Atlantic bluefin tuna bycatch and interactions in the pelagic longline fishery while analyzing opportunities to revitalize the catch of target species in the fishery.
