Giant Manta Ray Handling and Release Procedures for Hook and Line Gears

Follow these procedures to safely release giant manta ray. The giant manta ray is protected under the ESA and should not be targeted by fishermen. If caught they must released in a manner that will promote their survival after any interaction.
