Workshop Objectives
Provide an overview of current science and applied experience (lessons learned) regarding the application of artificial reefs as a tool to support or enhance sustainable fisheries.
This study investigated the impacts Florida artificial reefs may have on sea turtle populations, such as increased predation stemming from altered predator complexes, mortality due to entrapment, and entanglement issues.
