Summary

This proposed rule would establish annual catch limits of 30,802 pound (lb) and annual catch targets of 25,491 lb of main Hawaiian Islands Kona crab in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. The proposed rule would also establish in-season and post-season accountability measures. The proposed action supports the long-term sustainability of the Hawaii Kona crab fishery. NOAA Fisheries must receive comments by November 5, 2020
