Summary

NOAA Fisheries, upon request of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has issued a regulation to govern the unintentional taking of marine mammals incidental to the rehabilitation of the Jetty System at the Mouth of the Columbia River, over the course of five years. This regulation, allows for the issuance of a Letter of Authorization for the take of marine mammals incidental to the rehabilitation of Jetty System at the mouth of the Columbia River in Washington and Oregon, between May, 2017 and April, 2022.
