Summary
North Carolina Department of Marine Fisheries has been issued a permit for the incidental take of Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus) Distinct Population Segments (Gulf of Maine, New York Bight, Chesapeake, Carolina, and South Atlantic) associated with the otherwise lawful commercial inshore gillnet fishery in North Carolina. The permit will be active for 10 years.
