Listing Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles Under the ESA

Kemp's Ridley sea turtles were added to the pre-cursor of the Endangered Species Act by  a rulemaking published in the Federal Register on December 2, 1970 (35 FR 18319), to amend Appendix A to Part 17 of Title 50 CFR by adding additional names to the list of foreign endangered species.
