Adam Poquette
Adam has been helping the Northeast Fisheries Science Center since first volunteering on a spring bottom trawl survey back in 2008. In 2009 he assisted our Ecosystems Surveys Branch as a contractor during the bottom trawl survey calibration effort and monkfish survey. Adam worked with the Northeast's Fishery Sampling Branch as a data editor from 2009-2011. Since 2011 Adam has been with Ecosystems Surveys as a contractor and term employee (2013-2017), where he provided support to all of our cruise efforts and gear and equipment maintenance.
Adam enjoys fishing and boating, and participates in several local recreational sports leagues. As Fisheries Biologist with the Bottom Trawl Program, he'll continue to provide support to our surveys, sailing in a leadership role and maintaining the program's research and sampling equipment.
