Angela Doroff
Angela Doroff is the Deputy Director of the Auke Bay Laboratories Division of the Alaska Fisheries Science Center. She began her career in coastal Alaska as a wildlife biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Alaska Science Center and the Marine Mammals Management division in Anchorage, Alaska while concurrently serving as the sea otter species representative to the Otter Specialist Group in the IUCN. Her love of oceans and nearshore marine habitats grew while serving as the Research Coordinator for the Kachemak Bay, Alaska and South Slough, Oregon National Estuarine Research Reserves. Throughout her diverse career connecting science, conservation, stewardship, and service has been a passion. Her publications can be viewed on Research Gate.
