Cindy Tribuzio
Dr. Cindy Tribuzio is a Research Fishery Biologist working on stock assessments of groundfish species for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Alaska Fisheries Science Center in Juneau, Alaska. Her research focus is on the improvement and execution of data-limited stock assessments of elasmobranchs and rockfish in Alaskan waters for fisheries management. Her projects involve improving fishery-dependent data collections for uncommon species, data-limited assessment modelling, development of ageing methods for difficult to age species, and tagging. Dr. Tribuzio is active in numerous graduate student committees, conference committees, national level working groups, and serves as the vice-chair of the North Pacific Fishery Management Councils Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Groundfish Plan Team.
