Elizabeth McGovern

Liz received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island in 2015. Upon graduation, Liz began working at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center as a contractor and in 2021 started her federal career there as a budget analyst. In May 2024, Liz became the Budget Officer for the Center. 

Liz enjoys a relatively quiet life with her boyfriend & their 2 dogs. She is a plant lady, with just about 100 house plants & is always looking for more. She enjoys reading, cooking & baking and started baking sourdough in December 2023.
