Fletcher Sewall

Fletcher grew up in the coastal community of Seward, Alaska. He completed his Bachelor's degree at UAA, Master's degree at James Cook University in Australia, and his PhD in Fisheries Oceanography at UAF in 2020. His work at NOAA's Auke Bay Labs in Juneau has focused on factors affecting the survival of juvenile fishes and their recruitment to fished stocks. He manages the wet laboratory at the ABL TSMRI facility in support of controlled experimental studies of Alaska's finfish and shellfish.
