Background
John received a B.S. from James Madison University in 1993 and a M.S. in Marine Resource Management from Oregon State University in 1999. He joined the NWFSC in 1999.
Current Research
John is a member of the Fisheries Research Survey team and works on both the Shelf Rockfish Hook and Line Survey and the West Coast Groundfish Bottom Trawl Survey.
